Job summary

JLL in Houston, TX is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing to optimize our PDS/IFM projects across the US. You will drive total cost of ownership through innovative sourcing strategies and collaborate with corporate teams.

This role requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, plus a BA/BS and 5+ years in strategic sourcing within construction or real estate. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and 5+ years strategic sourcing or related experience.
• Proven track record and deep experience in construction management industry.
• Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide project delivery services (PDS/Construction) clients and internal stakeholders with optimization of sourced services.
• Develop innovative ways to drive best total cost of ownership across client projects.
• Collaborate with corporate sourcing and project management teams to simplify processes via tools and communication.
• Use category intelligence and data analytics to set strategy and drive results.
• Advance the preferred supplier program to demonstrate value of scale and relationships.
• Manage RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes for subcontracted goods/services; align with internal/external expectations.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, risk management programs, and ethics.
• Coordinate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to review terms.
• Set work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues with operations teams and resources.
• Support and develop diversity programs per client and company requirements; mentor suppliers.
