RestaurantSupply.com and Johnson-Lancaster is seeking a Strategic Sourcing / Purchasing Manager to lead supplier negotiations, optimize costs, and drive savings across a high-value annual spend. This remote role collaborates with vendors to secure favorable terms and improve profitability while maintaining quality and service.

You will analyze spend, develop negotiation strategies, and report savings to leadership, with a tiered bonus structure tied to company savings results.

Formación

• Experience managing $100M+ annual purchasing spend across multiple vendors.
• Proven track record negotiating large-scale vendor agreements and contracts.
• Ability to identify cost-reduction opportunities and deliver measurable savings.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimize supplier relationships across significant annual purchasing spend.
• Lead negotiations with vendors and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing, volume discounts, rebates, and other cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze purchasing spend, supplier pricing, and historical costs to identify savings opportunities and prioritize high-impact negotiations.
• Develop negotiation strategies based on purchasing volume, supplier performance, competitive pricing, market conditions, and business needs.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and compare pricing, contract terms, and other commercial considerations to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing arrangements that support company profitability while maintaining appropriate quality, service, and delivery expectations.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support favorable long-term agreements and continued opportunities for cost improvement.
• Partner with leadership, purchasing, sales, finance, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing decisions with company objectives.
• Track negotiated savings, pricing improvements, rebates, and other financial benefits to measure the impact of supplier negotiations.
• Collaborate with purchasing and accounting to ensure negotiated pricing and commercial terms are accurately reflected in purchasing transactions and that applicable rebates or credits are received.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, pricing arrangements, negotiation outcomes, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor supplier pricing and market conditions to identify opportunities for renegotiation and ongoing cost optimization.
• Report on purchasing spend, realized savings, supplier performance, and progress against established cost-reduction goals.
• Continuously improve sourcing strategies, vendor management practices, and purchasing processes to strengthen cost control and operational efficiency.
