Benesch is seeking a Marketing Pursuit Director to lead strategic pursuits across markets and services, partnering with firm leaders, seller/doers, and technical teams to win top opportunities.

The role requires deep expertise in pursuit planning, messaging, and client strategy, with a proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through proposal development and interview execution.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in professional services marketing, pursuit management, business development, proposal strategy, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value pursuits from strategy through proposal development.
• Strong understanding of capture planning, pursuit strategy, client positioning, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pursuit planning for priority opportunities across markets and service lines.
• Develop messaging strategies for major proposals, qualifications, interviews, and client-facing opportunities.
• Coach teams on persuasive communication, storytelling, and interview performance.
