Job summary

Benesch, a leading multi-disciplinary planning, engineering, and professional services firm, seeks a Marketing Pursuit Director to drive strategic pursuit initiatives across markets and service lines. You will partner with firm leaders and technical teams to develop differentiated win strategies and elevate client positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in professional services marketing, pursuit management, or related field, preferably in the AEC industry.
• Experience leading complex, high-value pursuits from strategy and pre-positioning through proposal development and interview.
• Proven ability to develop differentiated win strategies, messaging, and interview strategies.
• CPSM certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pursuit planning for priority opportunities.
• Facilitate pursuit strategy workshops, kickoff meetings, and strategic reviews.
• Develop messaging strategies for major proposals, qualifications, interviews, and other client-facing opportunities.
• Coach technical staff, project leaders, and marketing teams on persuasive communication and storytelling.
• Collaborate with leadership to align pursuit strategies with client needs and market trends.
• Mentor and develop marketing professionals in strategic thinking and client-focused communication.
