Job summary

SirsiDynix, Harris company is seeking a Proposal & Solutions Consultant in Washington to lead end-to-end library procurement proposals (ILS/LSP, discovery, analytics) and provide pre-sales technical support. Based in Pacific Time, you will deliver product demos for APAC, contribute to Loopio knowledge base, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure compliant, high-quality responses.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or related field.
Experience responding to formal RFPs for public or academic institutions.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and demonstrate complex software.
Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end proposal development for library procurements (ILS/LSP, discovery, digital resource management, analytics).
Build AI agents to increase efficiencies and expand proposal pipeline.
Develop proposal strategies aligned to procurement criteria (functionality, interoperability, accessibility, total cost of ownership).
Manage timelines, schedules, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
Serve as pre-sales technical reviewer for proposals, ensure accurate responses.
Own follow-up responses and coordinate with SMEs as needed.
Identify gaps/risks and elevate for resolution.
Support pre-sales with technical questionnaires, security reviews, and requirements clarification.
Collaborate with Marketing for messaging alignment.
Contribute to Loopio knowledge base to keep content current and accurate.
Deliver product demonstrations for APAC region; occasional webinars and demos.
