Job summary

Shield Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Lead to build and lead the procurement function across Shield and its portfolio of ShieldCos. This role owns vendor relationships, spend management, and procurement operations end to end — from sourcing and negotiation through contract lifecycle management and renewal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience, ideally in technology/IT services.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage commercial strategy and vendor relationships across Shield and ShieldCos.
• Lead contract negotiations, renewals, terminations, and drive favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Develop and manage a portfolio-wide view of vendor spend and identify consolidation opportunities.
• Establish procurement policies, approval workflows, and purchasing controls with Accounting and FP&A.
• Partner with IT and business leaders on software/hardware purchasing and vendor due diligence.
• Support acquisitions by assessing vendor agreements and migrating to Shield’s framework.
