Job summary

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service in Birmingham, AL seeks a Strategic Operations Program Analyst to analyze programs, report findings to management, implement new methods, and help set long-range plans for the organization.

Key duties include monitoring programs, researching requirements, evaluating legislation and policies, presenting recommendations in writing and briefings, and assessing Treasury securities programs to inform management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of programs to include monitoring existing plans and developing mechanisms to project future requirements.
• Keep abreast of and conduct research relevant to programs, and develop long-range goals for major program elements.
• Analyze, evaluate, and determine impact of legislation, regulations, and policies affecting programs; present options to management in writing and oral briefings.
• Conduct broad, complex studies affecting relationships between Fiscal Service, other agencies, and the Federal Reserve System.
