Job summary

Indiana Wesleyan University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Strategic Intelligence, Cyber Threats, and Expository Writing in a remote setting within the United States. This role will connect technical analysis with strategic decision-making for policy-level stakeholders.

The position requires 3–5 years in intelligence or cyber threat analysis, with emphasis on structured analytic techniques, professional communication, and a Christian worldview.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Intelligence Studies, Cyber Security, International Relations, or Professional Writing.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic intelligence, cyber threat analysis, or as a senior intelligence briefer/writer.
• Experience delivering online education and higher education teaching experience.
• Proficiency in communicating professionally and clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses bridging technical analysis and strategic decision-making (ICA-240, ICA-250, ICA-260).
• Guide analysis of cybercrime typologies and threat actor profiles (ICA-250).
• Facilitate assessment of emerging threats using structured analytic techniques (SATs) (ICA-260).
• Incorporate a Christian worldview regarding truthfulness, integrity, and responsible stewardship of technology.
