Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is expanding its Infrastructure Practice and seeking a senior leader to grow the municipal infrastructure business in Connecticut. This role begins remotely with the opportunity to establish a new office and lead business development and project delivery for water, wastewater, and civil engineering projects.

You will leverage a strong municipal network, mentor engineers and project teams, and collaborate with national resources to deliver high-impact projects while

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred in CT.
• Demonstrated success in developing new markets and securing municipal clients.
• Strong mentoring and cross-discipline project-team leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of Apex's infrastructure services within your local market.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand relationships with municipal, utility, and public-sector clients.
• Oversee delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including water and wastewater, distribution/collection, stormwater, transportation, and civil engineering.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers and project managers to grow Apex's local presence.
