Apex Companies, LLC is expanding its Infrastructure Practice in Connecticut and seeks a senior leader to build and grow our municipal infrastructure business. The role is client-facing, leveraging a strong municipal network and active book of business, with national resources to support delivery.

Qualifications

• BS or MS Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred in CT
• Demonstrated success in developing new markets and leading cross-discipline project teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of Apex's infrastructure services within your designated local market.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand relationships with municipal, utility, and public-sector clients.
• Lead proposal development and manage interview and negotiation processes.
• Oversee delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and civil engineering.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers and project managers to grow Apex's local presence.

Education

Civil/Environmental Engineering degree

Professional Engineer (CT) - preferred
