Job summary

Embarc Advisors is seeking a Strategic Finance and FP&A Associate to build monthly, quarterly, and annual financial models for startups, SMBs, and middle-market clients. You will spend significant time in Excel, creating reporting packages and analyses to drive strategic insights.

You will gain exposure to diverse industries, working alongside mentors who previously served as CFOs, and will contribute to growth initiatives while supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 3+ years of related financial experience (public or PE experience a plus).
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Excellent Excel modeling and data storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting packages.
• Support cash flow management and forecasting duties.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
• Develop Top-Down and Bottom-Up forecasts and growth plans.
• Establish and track KPIs and report to executives/investors.
• Develop client materials for Series A/B, Pre-IPO scenarios.
• Other duties as assigned.
