Job summary

Oscar is hiring an Associate, Strategic Finance to join the FP&A team. The role supports financial planning, analytics and business insights across corporate, operations and technology divisions.

You will build reporting, partner with senior leadership, and deliver projections and insights to guide strategy and investments, with a remote-friendly setup and potential hybrid options in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of finance experience including experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance or Financial Services.
• 2+ years of experience with google products - Sheets, Docs and Slides or Microsoft products.
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Craft data-driven pricing recommendations for senior executives to influence growth and profitability.
• Support models and tooling that produce relevant business insights and scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with actuarial and leadership teams to develop portfolio strategy for Oscar markets.
• Identify profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support strategic programs and ACA trend reporting.
• Report intra-year membership analytics to leadership to inform tactics.
