Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to join the FP&A team. The role supports financial planning, analytics, and business insights for Corporate, Operations and Technology divisions. You will create reporting and insights, partner with business leaders, and present findings to leadership.

You will report into the Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Development. This is a remote position open to candidates in Atlanta, GA, with potential future hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of finance experience including Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance or Financial Services.
• 2+ years of experience with Google Sheets, Docs and Slides or Microsoft Office.
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Craft recommendations using a data-driven approach for senior executives to influence pricing and growth.
• Support build of models and tooling that produce relevant business insights and scenario modeling.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategy for Oscar markets.
• Identify profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support strategic programs in the team.
• Monitor ACA trends to inform tactics during selling season and report intra-year membership analytics.
