Job summary

MSIG USA in Chicago seeks a detail-oriented State Filings Analyst to drive preparation, submission, and management of insurance product filings across jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate records. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities include developing standardized filings processes, preparing filings for SERFF and FilingRamp, coordinating with actuarial, underwriting, and legal teams, and tracking status and approvals to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in insurance regulatory filings, compliance, or related insurance operations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. insurance regulations and multi-state filing requirements.
• Experience using SERFF and iFile platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit insurance filings (rates, rules, forms, endorsements) to state departments.
• Manage filings through SERFF, FilingRamp, and other systems.
• Maintain form libraries and filing records with accuracy and version control.
• Interpret state regulations and filing instructions to determine requirements.
• Track filing status, objections, approvals, and effective dates.
