Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a detail-oriented State Filings Analyst to support preparation, submission, and management of insurance product filings with U.S. state departments across commercial lines.

This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, accuracy, and collaboration with actuarial, underwriting, legal, compliance, and product teams to ensure timely filings and accurate records. It is an individual contributor role with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3–5+ years in insurance regulatory filings or related operations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. insurance regulations and multi-state filing requirements.
• Experience with SERFF and iFile platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize state filings processes and documentation.
• Prepare and submit filings (rates, rules, forms, endorsements) to state departments.
• Manage filings through SERFF, FilingRamp, and other systems.
• Maintain form libraries and version-controlled filing records.
• Interpret regulations and filing instructions to determine requirements.
• Coordinate with actuarial, underwriting, legal, and product teams.
• Track status, handle objections, and maintain audit-ready records.
