Job summary

Sustainable Talent, in partnership with a leading global automotive manufacturer, is staffing a greenfield battery pack assembly plant in Jeffersonville, IN. You will start remotely and then move on-site to build the team, processes and culture for peak performance.

You will apply Lean, MES and real-time data to optimize operations, develop leaders, and roll out standard processes plant-wide while guiding diverse teams toward shared goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or operations leadership.
• Track record of attracting and retaining high-performing teams.
• Communicate complex operational concepts to all levels.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy, including P&L.
• Emotionally intelligent, collaborative leadership style.
• Lead through complexity and ambiguity with diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver KPIs aligned with department and business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and change efforts.
• Use MES and real-time data to identify bottlenecks and fixes.
• Represent plant during launch and rollout of standard processes.
• Develop leaders and diverse teams through inclusive leadership.
• Spend time on the production floor applying Gemba principles.
• Build culture aligned with vision, learning and performance.
• Train and coach employees for growth and capability.
