Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - SRE to boost reliability of Grafana Cloud databases (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Pyroscope) offered as a SaaS across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will partner with engineering squads, own high-SLA environments, and design automation to scale reliability.

The role emphasizes ownership, incident leadership, and proactive reliability improvements. The team supports multi-tenant systems with strong emphasis on SLOs, observability, and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering experience with 4+ in SRE/production engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC tooling.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring能力.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability for high-SLA, multi-tenant environments.
• Define and evolve per-tenant SLOs and reliability models.
• Lead incident response, post-incident reviews, and blameless PIRs.
• Collaborate with product engineering and design scalable solutions.
