Job summary

Alkami Technology is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead backend-heavy development for banking reporting systems. You will drive end-to-end design, execution, and exports of reports across OLB banking data and ERP systems, while mentoring a team of engineers in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

The role emphasizes API-first design, on-call readiness, and collaboration with product and engineering teams. A strong background in .NET/C#, Java, and cloud-native infra is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a full stack developer with .NET/C#, Java.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js/Angular/React).
• Strong SQL/NoSQL, ETL, data reporting experience.
• Cloud-native deployments and Kubernetes expertise.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Lead code/design reviews for reliable operation.
• Develop backend-focused web applications (60% backend / 40% frontend).
• Manage complex report execution and data synchronization across systems.
• Mentor a team of engineers and provide on-call support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features.
