The role focuses on setting technical direction across teams, solving large, ambiguous problems, and shipping high-quality software with quick feedback loops.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience with Python in production.
- Track record of leading complex, multi-team technical projects to successful outcomes.
- Ability to set technical direction and gain buy-in across teams.
- Strong coding fundamentals and well-tested code.
- Good product and systems judgment in ambiguous spaces.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working effectively on a remote team with asynchronous communication.
- Demonstrated mentoring of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects with high ambiguity from definition to delivery.
- Set technical strategy and architectural decisions for cross-team systems.
- Identify gaps and drive strategy to address them.
- Build, test, and deploy software with daily or more frequent releases.
- Create and review technical specs and maintain high quality standards.
- Collaborate with PMs, designers, and stakeholders to solve the right problems.
- Mentor and sponsor engineers across the organization.
- Investigate production issues and improve system reliability.
