Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to interpret prescriptions, verify information, and guide patients on medication usage. This remote role requires licensure in AZ, FL, IN, OH, or PA and offers a competitive hourly rate with training.

Responsibilities include consulting with patients, coordinating with prescribers, supervising technicians, and ensuring quality and timely processing of orders. A flexible schedule is required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Current active resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.
• Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients regarding medication use and interactions.
• Coordinate with physicians for transfers/authorization.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure prescription accuracy.
• Back up other pharmacists as needed and support management.
