Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, part of Evernorth Health Services, seeks a Staff Pharmacist for a remote role across AZ, FL, IN, OH or PA to join our patient-focused team. You will interpret prescriptions, verify details with prescribers and patients, and expedite orders while maintaining regulatory guidelines.

During training, hours are M-F 9:00–18:00 ET; after training, 11:00–20:00 ET with periodic on-call and limited weekend work. Competitive hourly pay, bonus eligibility, and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current resident state pharmacist license in good standing.
• Advanced problem solving and collaboration with other departments.

• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and verify information to expedite processing.
• Contact prescribers/patients to verify prescription details.
• Provide guidance to patients on medications and potential drug interactions.
• Back up pharmacists and train less experienced staff.
• Maintain daily production, quality and service levels with competing priorities.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians for quality assurance.
