Accredo, a division of Evernorth Health Services and The Cigna Group, seeks a Staff Pharmacist for Rare Disease in a remote-capable role. The position requires Florida, Indiana, Arizona or Pennsylvania residency and an active pharmacist license in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.
• Interpret physicians’ prescriptions and verify drug details.
• Contact doctors or patients to verify prescription information to expedite orders.
• Verify controlled substances and accuracy of system data.
• Coordinate with physicians for authorizations and transfers.
• Assist in converting prescriptions to generic or preferred drugs when possible.
• Counsel patients on medication use and potential interactions.
• Back up other pharmacists and train junior staff as needed.
