Responsibilities

• Verify prescription data entered into the system.
• Coordinate with physicians on new or transfer authorizations.
• Work with physicians to convert prescriptions to generics or preferred drugs.
• Consult with patients about medications and interactions.
• Back up other pharmacists and train less experienced staff.
