Job summary

TuxCare Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer for KernelCare and SecureChain to own major product components end-to-end. The role combines deep technical execution (70%) with technical product ownership (30%), and is fully remote with flexible hours.

You will design scalable architectures, contribute production code, guide milestones, and collaborate with engineering, product, and sales. Strong Python, Linux production experience, and English communication are essential, with autonomy and curiosity

• Own major product components and workstreams end-to-end.

• Build and maintain production-grade components end-to-end.
• Ensure reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Track progress and communicate blockers, risks, dependencies.
• Research technologies and competitive solutions.
• Contribute to engineering quality with reviews and mentorship.
• Use AI-assisted tools as part of the workflow.
• Own delivery from discovery to production release.
