Job summary

Hidden Jobs is hiring a Staff Product Engineer to lead architecture and engineering standards for a fast-growing, distributed product team. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role working with executive technology leadership to scale a full-stack TypeScript platform.

You will mentor engineers, shape long-term technical direction, and operate without traditional Agile ceremonies, enabling autonomy and rapid decision-making across US and international teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Leadership experience as Staff/Principal or equivalent.
• Hands-on architecture and design of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture across the stack with focus on scalability, security and maintainability.
• Translate business strategy into technical roadmaps and major architectural decisions.
• Improve reliability with monitoring, SLOs, incident response, and blameless postmortems.
• Automate deployments, data fixes, reporting and documentation.
• Lead design/code reviews and mentor engineers in technical judgment.
