Job summary

Skylo Technologies is seeking a Staff Network Reliability Engineer, Cloud Operations, to own the health of Skylo's hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will manage GKE and on-prem clusters, oversee the observability pipeline, and own runbooks, SLOs, and incident RCA.

The role requires strong ownership, automation focus, and collaboration with Platform Engineering and NI teams to improve reliability. As part of the Global Product Support & Customer Success organization, you will mentor senior

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in infrastructure engineering or cloud operations.
• Production 24x7 on-call ownership for Kubernetes-scale environments.
• Hybrid cloud ops including public cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Observability stack ownership: Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Own 24x7 cloud infra health across hybrid production environment.
• Lead incident triage and root-cause analysis for cloud infra incidents.
• Define and maintain SLOs tied to network commitments.
• Develop runbooks for automated recovery and remediation.
• Collaborate with NI and Platform Eng to ensure operational readiness.
