Job summary

SPD Technology seeks an experienced software architect to translate business goals into scalable architectural solutions across Java, Python, and cloud platforms. You will design cost-efficient, high-performance systems while guiding engineering teams toward best practices and AI-enabled workflows.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a track record of architectural decisions, and experience with multi-stack environments in AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years designing complex multi-stack architectures (Java, C#, Python, microservices).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with Product Management and Engineering.
• Strong architectural decision-making with trade-offs and risks.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-organizational alignment.
• Experience with relational DBs, caching, replication, and search engines (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Cloud architecture on AWS, GCP or Azure with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience in AI enablement and AI systems (LLM orchestration) is a plus.
• English – Upper Intermediate or higher; Ukrainian – fluent.

• Proactively drive architecture decisions across teams and products.
• Draft AI-ready solution specifications and integrate AI workflows.
