Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of AI/ML experience, or a Master's with 6+ years.
• Eight+ years of programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Strong background deploying AI solutions on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience leading engineering teams and influencing stakeholders up to VP level.
• Experience with LLM inference, vector databases, guardrails, and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including training and inference.
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies across a broad stack.
• Invent state-of-the-art optimization techniques to improve performance, cost, latency, throughput.
• Contribute to the long-term AI systems roadmap at Capital One.
