Monetary Metals (MM) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers a remote-friendly environment and the opportunity to own core accounting processes under the Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: receive and validate invoices, obtain approvals, and remit payments.
• Bank Transactions: record and classify bank transactions in the accounting system.
• General Ledger Maintenance: post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and document transactions.
• Financial Reporting: assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Audit Support: assist external audits with documentation and reconciliations.
• Other duties as assigned.
