Lundy Management Group, LLC (LMG) is a well-established full-service commercial property management firm serving the Triangle area. We are seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to support financial operations for our portfolio of properties.

The role involves collaborating with the property management team to ensure accurate financial reporting, cash management, and timely month-end close. This position offers a flexible work environment with options for working from the office or remotely.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property Management Accounting.
• Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest ethical standard in financial management.

Responsibilities

• Post dues and rent receipts, compare with expected revenue for each entity/property.
• Collect income due and report delinquencies.
• Assist in deposits to optimize cash management.
• Enter approved invoices into software (Yardi).
• Maintain rent rolls, budget comparisons, and property data for current leases.
• Reconcile bank accounts and report deficiencies.
• Monitor revenues, issue notices for accounts receivable delinquencies.
• Collaborate with property managers to collect revenue.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for clients and CFO review.
• Prepare year-end tax reporting and assist with audits.
