Job summary

Bcore, in Reston, VA, is seeking a Staff Accountant to own accounts payable and provide general ledger support across multiple entities using Unanet.

You will perform daily, weekly, monthly tasks, support payroll in Paylocity, and assist during audits while maintaining accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote-friendly, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Unanet is required.
• Exposure to payroll and GAAP knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable and GL support across multiple entities.
• Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review bank activity daily and record expenses.
• Process and post expense reports; manage 1099s.
• Support payroll in Paylocity and assist audits.
