Job summary

Bridge Core (BCore) is seeking a Staff Accountant to own accounts payable and provide GL support across multiple entities in Unanet. The role offers remote work options and requires 3+ years of accounting experience.

You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage vendor setup, AP aging, 1099s, payroll support in Paylocity, and help with annual audits. Reston presence optional with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Unanet (required).
• Exposure to payroll and GAAP knowledge.
• Strong detail orientation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable and provide general ledger support across multiple entities in Unanet.
• Enter vendor invoices accurately and timely; review bank activity; approve expense reports.
• Manage vendor setup, 1099s, and AP aging; process payments and transfers.
• Support payroll processes in Paylocity and assist during audits.
• Perform other finance duties across the organization as needed.
