Job summary

Veta Virtual Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to advance cryptocurrency and digital asset accounting within a global fintech platform.

You will support monthly close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple markets for a leading crypto kiosk and OTC desk. You bring at least 2 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and strong Excel skills; NetSuite experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
At least 2 years of related accounting experience with journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close.
Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain fundamentals preferred.
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain monthly rollforwards for digital assets (BTC, ETH, etc.).
Reconcile wallet balances to blockchain data and subledgers.
Perform FMV calculations and remeasurements for digital assets.
Account for crypto donations, rewards, and incentives; reconcile hardware wallet activity.
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close and perform reconciliations.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules; assist in reporting and audit support.
Develop spreadsheets for reporting and support cross-functional teams.
Review accounting policies and support SOP development.
