Job summary

Veta Virtual Inc. is seeking an Accountant with a crypto accounting focus to support a global fintech platform. You will manage digital asset rollforwards, wallet reconciliations, FMV remeasurements, and month-end closes within a fast-paced remote environment.

The role requires a solid GAAP foundation, 2+ years of accounting experience, and familiarity with NetSuite and Excel. LATAM/Europe candidates encouraged to apply for a remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of related accounting experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Excel for reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly rollforwards for digital assets across crypto holdings.
• Reconcile wallet balances to blockchain data and internal subledgers.
• Perform FMV calculations and remeasurements for digital asset holdings and support position checks.
• Process crypto donations, rewards, and incentives; record hardware wallet activity.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close and reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules; assist in financial reporting.
• Develop spreadsheet reports, verify financial information, and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze accounting policies and procedures; support SOP development and cross-functional teams.
