Job summary

Vero Fiber is seeking a Staff Accountant to own assigned accounting processes and support the monthly close for construction‑related operations. This role emphasizes job costing, CIP, fixed assets, and project revenue, working with Project Managers and the wider Finance team to ensure audit-ready, timely financials.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required; experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting concepts.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Review GL activity for proper coding, entity, market, project and other dimensions.
• Support intercompany accounting and project accounting with CIP and project closeouts.
