Indagare is seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounts Receivable to support day-to-day accounting operations from a fully remote, U.S.-based position. The role emphasizes payment application, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and month-end close.

You will report to the VP of Accounting Operations and collaborate with the Senior Accountants and Collections Specialist to resolve discrepancies and provide timely information to customers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; 5+ years for Senior Accountant level.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with accounting ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Reconcile and record payments from Bank of America, Stripe, and PayPal.
• Research payments to ensure proper trip identification and application.
• Collaborate with Collections Specialist to resolve discrepancies and provide payment info to customers.
• Invoice advertising contracts and record related payments and deposits.
• Research aged unidentified receipts and determine appropriate treatment.
• Perform weekly and monthly touring trip reconciliations and prepare month-end touring accrual and revenue recognition entries.
• Reconcile monthly activity for Insider Journey group trips and Global Classroom programs and prepare revenue recognition entries.
• Review weekly membership refund requests.
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable and the AR allowance adjustment.
• Reconcile the Undeposited Funds account and assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with daily supplier wire payments and prepare monthly PPA documentation.
