Job summary

Drivetrain is a remote-first financial planning and decision-making platform founded in 2021 by ex-Googlers. We are building scalable infrastructure to support rapid growth and reliability for customers.

The role focuses on managing multi-cloud infrastructure, implementing Terraform-based IaC and Python automation, and embedding observability and reliability into the development lifecycle. You will partner with engineers to drive cost efficiency, high availability, and autonomy across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP).
• Hands-on expertise with IaC using Terraform.
• Proficient with Python for automation.
• Strong skills in building scalable observability and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP with a focus on high availability and cost efficiency.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure as code and Python for automation to eliminate toil.
• Design and scale monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stack.
• Lead incident response and enforce SLOs to meet reliability guarantees.
• Work closely with software engineers to embed reliability into the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to a culture of autonomy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
