Job summary

NOVACARD is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of production systems. You will build automation, improve observability, and prevent incidents before they occur across a new digital product for the Mexican market.

You will work at the intersection of development and operations, collaborating with international teams, configuring Grafana and Zabbix, and defining SLIs/SLOs to drive reliability and measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as SRE/DevOps/infra engineer.
• Fluent Russian; English B1+ for technical docs.
• Experience with Grafana and Zabbix administration.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD tooling.
• Knowledge of SLI/SLO/Error Budget frameworks.
• Incident management and post-mortem documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, performance, and fault tolerance of production systems.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and observability tools.
• Monitor health, respond to incidents, and perform RCA.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve scalability and reliability.
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident response and document post-mortems.
