Job summary

HHAeXchange is seeking a Director, Site Reliability Engineering to lead our SRE teams and transform cloud operations. You will drive high availability across AWS, implement automation, and set change-management processes while mentoring leaders and promoting a DevOps culture.

The role is fully remote for candidates in EST or CST time zones within the US, with a base salary of $200,000–$230,000 per year plus variable compensation. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in cloud engineering and operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale AWS cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of modern SRE practices and principles.
• Experience driving team transformation and change management.
• Hands-on experience using AI-driven tools to improve operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud services across geographies.
• Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers and leaders.
• Define and operate change management, financial management and incident response processes.
• Model and lead adoption of AI-based tools to enhance team effectiveness.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for cloud infrastructure and operations.
