Job summary

InRule Technology seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and support infrastructure for our cloud services. You’ll collaborate with developers and architects to keep systems reliable, secure, and scalable while integrating security into day-to-day operations.

You’ll manage IaC, observability, and CI/CD pipelines, participate in on‑call rotation, and drive secure baseline configurations and cost optimizations across Azure environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud operations, SRE, or DevOps.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP core services.
• PowerShell and other languages (SQL, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• IaC tools: OpenTofu, Bicep/ARM, or Pulumi.
• Observability platforms: Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus/Loki/Grafana.
• CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
• Ownership of security-adjacent tasks as part of role.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage tools to develop, deploy, monitor, and support cloud infrastructure and services.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs using error budgets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot resources with our observability stack.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution.
• Automate and optimize cloud operations processes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in cloud usage.
• Build and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (Bicep/OpenTofu).
• Support GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines integration.
• Assist deployment and configuration of InRule products; suggest architecture improvements.
• Implement security controls in Azure environment and promote least-privilege access.
