Job summary

InRule Technology, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and support the infrastructure behind our cloud services. You’ll collaborate with developers and architects to keep systems performant, reliable, and scalable, with hands‑on work on security controls as part of core SRE duties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud operations, SRE, or DevOps.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficient with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as OpenTofu, Bicep/ARM, or Pulumi.
• Hands‑on with observability platforms (Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Strong CI/CD fundamentals and experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Proficient with Linux and related tooling (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Willingness to own security‑adjacent tasks as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage tools for developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting cloud infrastructure and services using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Bicep/ARM templates, and other DevOps tooling.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs for services, balancing reliability work with feature velocity using error budgets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources with our observability stack and on‑call rotation.
• Automate and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reliability of cloud operations.
• Support deployment and configuration of InRule products, recommending security and performance improvements.
• Implement security controls in Azure environments and promote least‑privilege access and JIT elevation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by onboarding SAST/DAST/SCA into the build process.
• Support migration toward GitOps workflows and drift detection.
