Job summary

Hubscale is hiring an experienced production-focused engineer to own releases, monitoring, and run costs in a small, fast-moving team. This IC role supports an enterprise launch, with remote work in the US and quarterly travel to Austin.

You'll design on-call, build observability with Datadog, Grafana and Prometheus, run Kubernetes and Postgres, and push infrastructure as code while leveraging AI agents in deployment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and a major public cloud.
• Strong observability experience using Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Proficient scripting and automation, with AI tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Own release shipping processes to ensure quality and speed.
• Build and maintain observability across the stack.
• Operate production on Kubernetes and Postgres; optimize cloud costs.
• Design the on-call model and incident response.
• Advance infrastructure as code practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve production readiness.
