Job summary

Financial Statement Services, Inc. (FSSI) seeks a hands-on Microsoft SQL Database Administrator to join the East Development team. This remote role is open to multiple states, with hybrid/onsite options at Lincoln, RI or Orlando, FL.

The DBA will manage SQL Server environments, implement backups, ensure security, and support CI/CD workflows. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of SQL Server experience, strong T-SQL and PowerShell skills, and relevant cloud familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a computing field.
• 2–4 years of SQL Server administration experience.
• Microsoft Azure or equivalent data-platform certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SQL Server environments across dev/test/prod.
• Configure backups, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security; resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to optimize queries and designs.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and SQL scripting.
