Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking four spring Recruiter Interns to join our Field Talent Acquisition Team for Jan 2027–May 2027. Interns will be trained on sourcing, screening, and stakeholder collaboration to support high-volume spring hiring nationwide for Ag Retail locations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled undergrad students in HR, business, communications, or agriculture, with internship experience preferred and a background in agriculture. Roles are 100% remote, with US-based eligibility.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a preferred emphasis in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or Agriculture.
• Previous internship experience in an HR or recruiting role preferred.
• Agricultural background preferred.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Efficient multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with efficiency in a high-energy, fast paced team environment
• Identify and source appropriate talent for around 300 seasonal openings for our spring planting season
• Support the CHS employment brand, diversity initiatives, and other programs
• Support the recruitment process and life cycle, including job postings, resume review, interviews, and competitive analysis
• Utilize our applicant tracking system and other recruiting software to track applicants from the selection phase to interviews with the hiring managers
• Learn about employee benefits, compensation, incentive programs, and CHS culture to share with candidates
• Provide sourcing support for other Talent Acquisition colleagues as needed
• Focus on providing a positive candidate experience by ensuring appropriate follow up and professional communication with candidates at all levels in the process
• Provide a positive hiring manager experience and ensure regular updates are provided to hiring managers
• Utilize social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical and creative means to source candidates for open jobs
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
