Job summary

Workiva, Inc. is seeking a Solution Consulting Intern to help translate complex technical scenarios into customer-focused stories and contribute to software demonstration projects.

You will work cross-functionally to showcase product capabilities, aiding pre-sales and onboarding activities. The role offers exposure to SaaS finance solutions, with remote-friendly options and potential hybrid work near office hubs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in a related field.
• Familiarity with SaaS and/or cloud-based financial solutions and ecosystems.
• Exposure to accounting/finance platforms and functionality (budgeting, GL, FP&A, financial modeling, close).
• Exposure to data management platforms (data warehousing, APIs, SQL).
• Understanding of software development, architecture, systems design, and networking.
• Experience creating presentations and conducting software demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical scenarios into clear, compelling stories for a broader audience.
• Assist in the creation and execution of software demonstrations showing different use-cases and contexts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand capabilities, impacts, and customer journey.
• Support the Sales team as needed.
• Assist Client Services and Customer Success teams to provide support for customer onboarding as needed.
