Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a School Based Speech Language Pathologist contractor to support students nationwide on a part-time, remote basis.

This 1099 Independent Consultant role offers compensation at $55/hr and requires state SLP certification along with ASHA CCC, with licensing across multiple states as needed. Responsibilities include screening, assessing and treating students, coordinating with IEP teams, documenting progress, and supervising SLPAs as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
• Three (3) years of speech/language work experience within a public-school setting or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, with availability during typical school hours of at least 20 hours per week.
• Knowledge regarding Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) due process requirements.
• State SLP licensure and ASHA SLP CCC required.
• Proficiency with MS365 and related tech.
• Background check clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate students with suspected speech-language impairments.
• Provide case management of speech-language caseload.
• Develop IEP-aligned service plans and progress reports.
• Communicate with parents and teachers to coordinate schedules.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as needed.
• Maintain compliant records and documentation.
