Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect patient specimens using nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, nasal, or throat swabs.
• Verify patient identification and document updates in the lab system.
• Explain collection procedures to patients and answer questions about the process.
• Store and prepare samples for transport.
• Travel to site locations within Santa Ana and/or Orange County.
• Set up and take down the testing site at the start and end of each workday.
• Follow safety protocols (PPE, OSHA) and HIPAA/privacy requirements.
