Job summary

The Specification Sales Rep will work remotely from the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area, collaborating with district managers to pursue specification opportunities. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in specification or building products sales, plus lean manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• 3-5 years of specification or building products sales experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com and structured sales process.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional team.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the specification plan with the Regional Manager for the assigned region.
• Assess market competition by comparing Valto products to alternatives in the region.
• Enhance the specification process through outreach to the architecture & design community.
• Prepare updates on specifications, price agreements and market opportunities; track opportunities.
• Maintain CRM updates and weekly reports with chain accounts and key end users.
