Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy is hiring a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 to support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx preparation and dispensing. You will handle semi-routine tasks, enter orders, and communicate with physicians and patients to ensure adherence to processes.

The role requires an active Pharmacy Technician license, PTCB/NHA certification, and strong multitasking and data-entry skills. This is a remote position with some travel for training or meetings.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the state Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB or NHA certification required
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or inbound/outbound phone experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and use multiple computer applications
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Adaptable to fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy

Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing
• May contact physicians for prescription clarification
• Enter prescription orders into the system and ensure adherence to processes
• Communicate with patients and providers to optimize health outcomes
