Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Specialty Coder I to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN, and involves coding outpatient diagnoses and CPT for office and surgical services.

Under supervision, you will review medical records, ensure accurate documentation for billing, and code for various clinic/outpatient settings. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and CPC or CCS-P certification, with at least 1 year of specialty/surgical coding

Formación

• High School diploma (required).
• Coding certification CPC or CCS-P required.
• 1 year experience in Specialty/Surgical Coding.

Responsabilidades

• Code diagnoses and CPT for outpatient physician charges at the Clinic level, including Evaluation and Management levels, in-office procedures, and surgeries in multiple settings.
• Review medical records thoroughly to facilitate accurate payer information and documentation.
• Code diagnosis and CPT for office and Surgical services for providers.
